About Me
Good morning! My name is Juliana Dosy. I am a dietitian nutritionist and member of the Order of Dietitian Nutritionists of Quebec.
After 12 years of experience as a clinical nutritionist for the Health Network, I founded Club NutriChoix in 2021.
The mission of the Club is to help the professional in her forties to:
- Free yourself from the trap of restrictive diets
- Lose weight and belly without gaining it back
- Be fit and healthy for life.
Our approach is based on the gradual improvement of NUTRITION and EXERCISE habits, and MOTIVATION (N.E.M. approach).

I am Canadian from Madagascar. I am the wife of the man of my heart, the mother of 3 children, the daughter of a wonderful mother and a loving father who passed away too soon, the sister of an irreplaceable brother, and I have 2 sisters who live in Europe
My life mission is to help others optimize their physical, mental and spiritual health. I have 2 passions: nutrition and personal development
I worked for 12 years as a nutritionist within the Quebec Health Network, and I helped and motivated thousands of people to lose weight, control their diabetes, their blood pressure and their cholesterol, through the acquisition of healthy lifestyle habits.

My patients who have diabetes, prediabetes or polycystic ovary syndrome report a better knowledge of carbohydrate sources (carbohydrates), the quantity to consume each day and each meal, the best carbohydrate choices, the importance of fiber, strategies to reduce concentrated sugar intake, the concept of the glycemic index, reading nutritional labels, managing sweeteners, the best choices at restaurants, interpreting blood sugar values before and after meals, relevant laboratory values, target values, prevention and management of hypoglycemia, aiming for a weight loss of 5 to 10%, how to analyze restrictive ketogenic style diets, etc.
My patients who have high blood pressure report better knowledge of blood pressure target values, the DASH diet (Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension), maximum daily sodium intake, strategies to reduce sodium intake, reading nutritional labels, the importance of consuming more foods of plant origin rich in potassium, the importance of exercising, developing stress management strategies, having good hygiene sleep, aim for a weight loss of 5 to 10%
